Weapons doesn't seem correct during a fight

I been in a few clashes recently and I bought several Kanata’s thinking it would help me win the fight. So far the highest weapon I think one can get around level 30 with an attack value at *15 at the price of for ￥ 700,000 dollars with ￥ 5,500 upkeep. Why are they behind the smoke bombs during the fight which is only $300,000 dollars and only 7 attacks on the aftermath screen?

The Wakizashi at the price of ￥ 200,000 with its attack level *10 in my thinking should be worth more in an attack than the Flash Powder which is only *4. I think in a few fights if my Katana was added differently I would have won hands down.

I realize that his mob might be larger and he does have numerous of other items but adding the Katana at that price didn’t seem like it helped that much.
