Messages to Ibrahim
Now that we know you are back and you are reading the forums (or at least reading htem enough to delete posts & threads) I thought about starting a new thread with questions directed to you.
MEMBERS: Please keep your posts as Questions to Ibrahim (no dissing, cursing, etc.)
1) on the "Deadbeat Developer" thread that was deleted, are you reading through the posts and will you respond to the problems mentioned (it is assumed you will not be replying to the nasty comment war involving Acclaimed1)
2) what are you doing to resolve the Web Errors everyone has been getting for weeks.
3) are you going to upgrade the game in the multiple ways that have been suggested.
4) if you disappear again, is there a back-up method we can use to cotnact you or a representative??
5) did any of our methods work to contact you (Game Comments, Twitter Tweets, Support Comments, etc.) or did you just finally get around to reading the forums and discovered the outrage/outage?
4/5) Emails sent to support were still being handled (albeit slowly, apparently.) With me not here, the forum wasn't being read. Game comments/Twitter messages usually get lost.
1) I read the deadbeat developer thread. I'll try to answer politely posed questions and comments to the best of my ability. I'm not a developer so there's not a lot I can tell you just now. I'm just an employee, and one not connected with the actual code of the game.
2) I didn't know about this problem until a day ago. I've told the appropriate people about it. Nobody has told me what they're doing about it, when I know something, I'll let you guys know.
3) I also don't know where they stand on updates, I've been out of the loop for a long while. When I know something, I'll post about it here.
So how do we actually contact a live developer? are they reading these forums??
In the event that I'm gone again, the best way is to use the email support system. They don't check it every day, but it does get checked. They don't read these forums. These are my pet project for the game.
Otherwise the best way is through me.
messages were left there, too. Got no responses. so they handle more than 1 type of programs, right? not just 140 stuff??
The best I can say is that they're aware and looking at the server errors right now and were reluctant to give me an date/timeframe on when it will be fixed. I'll try pushing the issue on Monday.
Hi Ibrahim,
Thank you for the response. Seems like a lot of sites have been experiencing server related issues, but it's nice to know you are on top of it and looks like things will be getting back to normal soon.
Let me understand this..you have to PUSH the issue?? They don't care? why would you have to push the issue????
I agree with jjoed, why does the issue have to be "pushed"?Let me understand this..you have to PUSH the issue?? They don't care? why would you have to push the issue????

While I am NOT privy to the number of DIRECT purchases, or the INDIRECT (via the ads) ones of the GF points, it seems that while the game itself is free, that there is money being spent, and to have these issues go unresolved is poor business practice. To ostensibly hide behind an "as is", or the like, disclaimer is also poor business practice.
Do the "powers that be" really expect that kind of business model to remain profitable?
Be Well!

I don't have to push the issue of them fixing it, that's a misunderstanding or I miscommunicated. I have to push them to give me a timeframe of having it fixed.
